| This coal tipple made from reinforced concrete the only such structure
in the world is located in Muddy, IL, about 7 miles from Eldorado. The tipple
spans five loading tracks and at its peak produced 2500 tons daily. Muddy
is located south on US 45 from Eldorado.

| Some of the original coal miner's homes are found throughout Muddy. These homes originally had miners who worked at the O'Gara mines which were within walking distance of these houses built by the company |
